Budapest day 2

Wow! Have I already been here just two days? It is 11:40 and I am SOO tired! Yesterday, I was still on Houston time so I adjusted to waking up early, but today.. man it was hard for me to wake up! Two girls and I decided to go work out in the morning. I went walking and two girls went running. It was so relaxing to be up early in the morning and just go walking around. I am truly feeling blessed to be here right now! Last night we had the coffee house and it was so much fun! We were sooo tired when we left, that is why I added the blog earlier in the day. After the work out we went to princess bakery which is SOO good! It is located in the subway (metro) and they have the best pastries. We brought them back to the ministry center, where we had a fantastic time of worship thanks to Matt and Cameron! After that we made some sandwiches for the homeless and passed them out. I really bonded with one of my team members, David. He is a seminary student who is interning at Grace right now. We were just taking about life in general along with what he thinks of the city. He said that most European cities look like Budapest, but since Budapest is the only city that I have spent the most time in, I have to say that I like Budapest the best! After passing out sandwiches we debriefed about our experiences. Then we split up into groups and some worked on what songs people were going to sing and some worked what they were going to share (testimonies). I shared mine last year and I am really feeling that God is wanting me to share what I shared last year. I talked about my battle with depression, which is an everyday battle for me. In the country of Hungary, the people here are very depressed, and the suicide rate is VERY high. Maybe that is why I feel that I can relate to the people here because I feel like them sometimes, dealilng with depression. Anyways, then after that we walked around the city for a bit and ate a yummy dinner. Then we took a river cruise of the Danube river and it is soo cool! Sorry I can't write anymore.. falling really really fast. I promise to try and write more tomorrow. My spellcheck isn't working again.. Sorry!
