Ok, so it seems that I have been in Budapest for two weeks, but it has only been three days. It is currently 10:46 and I am just getting back from being gone since 9:30 this morning! I woke up at 7:30 and went walking like I normally do. This time David and Katelyn went running while I was walking. They ran 4 miles in an hour! After walking I took a lightning fast shower and literally ran down the stairs so we could make it to church on time,. We went to Danube International Church, which is a church that mainly missionaries in the area go to. I hate to say it, but I was so tired (well our whole group was) I was having a hard time listening to the message. The problem was it was PACKED inside this room and there was no air conditioning. So the fact that it was super hot inside made us SUPER sleepy. After church we ate at the chain bridge where in August during the weekends they close down the bridge and they have a huge arts and crafts festival. It is super fun! I had a turkey kabob and I tried this yummy bread. I bought a couple of things that are pretty neat (can't write them, they are gifts). After that the group split up. Some went back to rest, but my philosophy is while I am in Budapest I am going to enjoy the time here and spend as much time enjoying the city as I can! Then some of the girls met up for drinks at a fun cafe before having a traditional Hungarian meal, Golash (totally miss-spelled that.. oh well). Then we went to Calvary church where we saw Matt and Cameron lead an AMAZING worship service~ After that we were starving so we went to the McDonalds and then here I am! Hope that y'all are enjoying the blog! SPELL CHECK STILL DOESN'T WORK. SORRY!
In Him,
Lindsey <><
